If there is a chance, at the same time we watch TV, we cook, we wash clothes, we turn on the beautiful decorative lights at night, and we can save some cash day after day, isn’t it a wonderful idea?

In China, we have the only electricity provider called State Grid, there is no other companies which has the rights to run any kinds of electricity. It is a government industry, and accept supervisions from the government and society, basically it works well at the present.

But, if we want to save money without electricity controls ourselves, there’s no such way to get it realized, unless we take some illegal methods, we can’t do that, can we!

Well, there is a chance now in America, Ignite’s parent company Stream Energy secures electricity through a variety of sources to bring you some of the lowest rates in the industry, as you have heard about energy deregulation in Texas, it is a big chance to switch electricity to the lowest rates, and the whole system is still regulated by the Public Utility Commission (like the State Grid here). Just wondering, as the price increases, it’s hard to say that the electricity won’t mark up, although it has been denied last year at the public hearing conference.

Hope we in China can get a cheap electricity some day, it would be nice just because it is a government monopoly.
